July 2 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. — "Red, White & Boom!" Independence Day Celebration featuring a concert, family fun, games, food and concluding with fireworks presented by County Service Area 29 (the park and recreation department in Lucerne Valley). The event will be held at Pioneer Park, 33187 Old Woman Springs Road, Lucerne Valley.
July 4 at 9 a.m. — Annual 4th of July Parade starts at Trade Post Road and Highway 18 and travels east through the heart of Lucerne Valley to Old Woman Springs Road. This year's theme is "Let Freedom Ring." Line-up begins at 7:30 a.m.; judging at 8 and parade starts at 9. Awards ceremony and the ringing of the bell at 11 a.m. at Pioneer Park. Applications for 4th of July Parade Floats are now available in the Lucerne Valley Chamber of Commerce office, 32750 Old Woman Springs Road.
